Meet Co- Director Coach Emily Dunne! We are beyond excited to have her as part of our Triple Double Athletics Team! Let’s get to know Coach Emily Dunne a little more!
Emily Dunne has been dedicated to educating and coaching athletes since 2012. She studied and played soccer at Adelphi University, earning degrees in Health and Physical Education and a Master’s degree in Special Education, bringing a strong educational foundation to her coaching philosophies.
For the past 14 years, Emily has served as an elementary physical education teacher in Darien, CT. Throughout her career, she has coached at Staples High School, Darien High School, Kristine Lilly Soccer Academy, and Darien Soccer Association before coaching with FUSA in Fairfield, running KidSport classes, and doing personal training. She has extensive experience working with athletes of all ages, ranging from toddlers as young as 2 years old to high school athletes, and adults.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Emily specializes in speed, strength, and agility training, with a particular passion for coaching soccer and basketball. She is committed to creating a positive environment where athletes can develop their skills, build confidence, and foster a love of any sport they are playing.
Emily’s goal for every athlete she works with is to ensure they leave each session more skilled, knowledgeable, and confident than when they arrived-equipping each athlete with the tools and mindset to succeed both on and off the field as they continue their athletic journeys
Emily can’t wait to kick off our fall soccer season and help our young athletes develop! Fun fact: Coach Emilys daughter is 4 !
Triple Double Athletics is excited to welcome our new Co- Director of Soccer, Coach Kim! A lifelong athlete, coach, and educator, she brings a wealth of experience and passion to our soccer programs. A graduate of Berlin High School, she was a three-sport athlete in soccer, basketball, and track & field, earning an impressive 12 varsity letters during her high school career.
She continued her soccer journey at Springfield College, where she was a four-year member of the women’s soccer program. During her collegiate career, Springfield captured the NEWMAC Championship in 2010, won NEWMAC Tournament Championships in 2010, 2012, and 2013, and made four NCAA Division III Tournament appearances.
Her coaching experience includes five seasons as the Fairfield Warde High School Girls Varsity Soccer Coach, along with 10 years coaching youth travel and premier soccer throughout Fairfield County. In addition to her coaching accomplishments, she has spent the past 11 years teaching Physical Education in Fairfield Public Schools.
Her commitment to developing young athletes, fostering confidence, and creating positive experiences through sports makes her an outstanding addition to the Triple Double Athletics team. We are thrilled to have her leadership, knowledge, and enthusiasm guiding our soccer programs and look forward to the impact she will have on our athletes and families. We are thrilled to welcome Coach Kim to our Triple Double family!
